The challenge
The Financial Times is one of the world’s leading business news organisations, recognised internationally for its authority, integrity and accuracy. The user research team at the Financial Times needed a trusted partner to provide support to their extensive research programme. The team run user research sessions regularly to test new concepts, research new ideas and to ensure they continue to provide high quality service to their users.
The solution
Since 2015, ACE have handled telephone recruitment for user research projects. The team of experienced research recruiters invite users to take part in one to one sessions with a member of the team at the FT. ACE then follow up with all administration elements including sending confirmation emails, reminders, consent forms and payment of incentives to participants.
The results
The user research team are able to focus on the research sessions, rather than being bogged down with appointment making and other related tasks. In 2020, ACE helped to facilitate over 300 research sessions with FT users.
